465 spacious double rooms and 35 modern furnished studios and
apartments. Studios are for maximum of 3 persons with 2 separate
bathrooms, a large bedroom and a sofa. The apartment consists of living
room with sofa and 2 balconies with panoramic view to the 6 km beach
strip. The rooms are several types of views, to the park or sea. The
rooms are elegantly decorated in soft tones and equipped with WC /
bathroom with shower and hairdryer, cable TV, personal safe, mini bar,
central air conditioning, direct dial telephone, sofa and balcony with
panoramic view to the Obzor bay.

Location Description
The image of summer holiday which appears in the people’s minds most certainly is formed by sunny days, nice fresh air carried by the wings of a cool breeze, lounge on the beach and also many people would add the beer in the hand as a part of this dreamed picture. With its spacious, almost 8 km long coast, formed by fine, tender, golden sand and with its forest freshness, Obzor is one of the artists skilled enough to paint the picture that we already described.
Obzor is another representative of the millennium towns around Bulgarian Black sea coast. All began when the Thracian formed a settlement under the name of Naulohas. After the beginning of the Greek’s colonization, the lands of Naulohas were also targeted and so in the first millennium b.c. the Greeks established the town of Heliopolis (solar town). Later after the extension of the Roman Empire, the town enters the borders of the empire and the Roman built a temple of Jupiter in the first century b.c. and the town got the name Teopolis (The town of the God). After the dividing of the empire here was one of the summer residences of the Byzantium’s rulers. Later the Bulgarians built the fortress Kozyak. When Bulgaria fall under Ottoman rulery, the town got the name Gyozeken, which in translation from Turkish to Bulgarian language is “obzor”. The name that the town brings nowadays is given to it in 1936. The formal village is officially announced as a town in 1984 and its development as a resort began at 1925, when the first summer villas and rest stations were built.
The town is located at 59km distance from Varna and 59km from Bourgas, which is almost in the middle between the two biggest Bulgarian Black sea coastal cities. It has population of over 2000 people. Despite the favorable location and the wide frontage of the town, the calmness in this destination is preserved even during the hottest days in the summer season, which makes the town preferred place for calm summer vacation. The breath of the antiquity you might feel trough the multiple columns and fragments from statues from the roman temple of Jupiter; those artifacts are arranged in the small park in the Centrum of Obzor.
The development of the resort proceeds in full speed. New hotels, cozy restaurants and places for resting are being built. The modernizing base, the hospitality and entrepreneurship of the citizens are turning the town into exquisite and unforgettable place for calm holiday.
At 14km distance from Obzor is located the cape Emine. There are lighthouse and ruins from the ancient Bulgarian fortress Emona. There is a legend which says that the birthplace of the Thracian ruler Rets was the village of Emona and Homer writes in “Iliad” that this ruler participate in the Trojan War.
The combination of forest and sea is attracting the eyes of the visitors of Obzor for long time now and the town is starting to become more and more preferred destination for summer holidays.
