The luxury five-star Sunset Resort comprises 5 aparthotels and 6 deluxe waterfront villas, on a total built up area of 115 000 sq.m. The four outdoor swimming pools offer various water attractions and include two pool bars, all expanding on a total area of more than 3 500 sq.m.

Aparthotel Alpha
Aparthotel Alpha has 7 floors and is located in the north-western part of Sunset Resort. The hotel offers lobby with reception, 2 elevators, Grill House restaurant with an open-air terrace, underground car park, accommodation in one- and two-bedroom apartments.

Aparthotel Beta
Beta has 6 floors and is also situated in the north-western part of Sunset Resort. The hotel includes lobby with reception, 2 elevators, buffet restaurant Brilliant with an open-air terrace, evening bar, underground car park, accommodation in one- and two-bedroom apartments.

Aparthotel Sigma
This is the largest of all aparthotel buildings, on a total built up area of almost 50.000 sq.m. The building consists of 13 floors and is situated in the heart of Sunset Resort. The hotel offers following facilities: lobby with reception, 6 elevators, lobby bar, two buffet restaurants - Smaragd & Sapphire, with open-air terraces, French a’la carte restaurant, beauty parlor (hairdresser, manicurist, beautician), shops, fitness center, indoor pool (semi Olympic, 25 m), Spa & Wellness center, Vitamin bar, Bowling and Billiards, as well as a meeting hall (up to 80 seats) and business center. The hotel has at its disposal one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Aparthotel Delta
The 6 floored Delta is located in the north-eastern part of the Resort and consists of 2 twin buildings. Both buildings offer lobbies with receptions, 2 elevators each, one lobby bar with an open-air terrace, Asian a’la carte restaurant, Vienna pastry shop, buffet restaurant Diamond, kiddy club, fully equipped multifunctional hall which can be reserved for conferences or private festivities (up to 500 seats). The hotel offers one-bedroom two-bedroom apartments.

Aparthotel Eta
The 8 floored Eta is situated in the eastern part of Sunset Resort and offers lobby with reception, 4 elevators, lobby bar and an Italian a’la carte restaurant with an open-air terrace, studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

At Sunset Resort you will find a great variety of food and drinks offered in a number of restaurants and bars. The hotel compound has a total of 9 restaurants, from which 5 are main buffet restaurants, and 4 a la carte restaurants located in the different aparthotel buildings. VENEZIA
The Italian restaurant Venezia is situated in aparthotel Eta along the beach promenade. It comprises an indoor dining area and a terrace, seating a total of up to 140 guests. In a spacious yet intimate atmosphere you are welcomed to enjoy a sophisticated dining experience. The interior is made up of stylish furniture  in the colours of the Italian tricolor.

MEDITERRANEO
If you prefer fish and seafood specialties you are kindly welcomed in the fish a la carte restaurant situated on the boulevard promenade in one of the seafront villas. It comprises a dining area and a terrace, seating a total of up to 100. The interior is well decorated with sea accessories in the maritime colors blue, golden and green. You can feel the breeze touching softly your skin while seating on the restaurant’s veranda or enjoy your dinner indoors in a delightful and intimate atmosphere.

ASIA
In aparthotel Delta is situated the sushi a la cart restaurant where you are invited to enjoy a special food selection, typical for the cuisine of the Far East – the classics: Basmati rice, Japanese sushi, Indian spicy chutney, and Chinese-style shrimps. In a cultivated atmosphere and individually decorated interior, your dining experience will be enhanced also by an attentive service, satisfying your wishes and meeting the highest requirements.

LA BOHEME
In aparthotel Sigma there is situated the French a la carte restaurant La Boheme. In a cozy and "boheme" atmosphere, you can taste some of the most delicious French dishes and wines. The restaurant disposes of an open-air terrace. Next to this dining location there is a cigar bar, for those, who would like to relax after dinner and have a chat or drink with friends.

GRILL HOUSE
The well-designed Grill House is situated in aparthotel Alpha, along the hotel park promenade, facing the beach on one side and the hotel garden- and pool area on the other. It disposes of two dining areas and a terrace, seating a total of up to 150. The restaurant's appealing interior is distinct with the elegance of its claret-golden damask, as well as the stylish and Asia-like minimalist furnishing. This main restaurant offers menu du jour including food and beverages. Seats: dining hall - 100, terrace - 50.

BRILLIANT
Brilliant comprises a spacious dining area and an open-air terrace with view towards the pools. The interior of the restaurant impresses with its chic velvet-glassed chandeliers, decent furniture and the well designed accessories. From the dining area there is access provided towards the outdoor swimming pools, as well as towards the lobby and reception in aparthotel Beta.

SMARAGD & SAPPHIRE
Aparthotel Sigma disposes of two main buffet restaurants - Smaragd and Sapphire. Smaragd is situated on the first floor in Sigma and is part of the half board area; Sapphire is located on ground floor and is part of the all inclusive area. Both restaurants comprise open-air terraces, providing direct sea view.

DIAMOND
This main restaurant is located centrally between the two hotel buildings Delta I and Delta II. Impressive feature of this dining location are the light effects, emerging from the eastern disposition of the building and its glass cupola, through which daylight fills the whole internal area. The restaurant comprises an open-air terrace on two levels, with pool/sea view.

Location Description

Pomorie is a town situated on southern Black sea coastal of Bulgaria on a narrow rocky peninsula at 3.5 km in the sea. It is located at 20km distance from Bourgas and 18km from Sunny Beach. The town is established in VI-V c. b.c. by Greek colonists from Sozopol (Apollonia) and its name has been Anhialo. The population has been formed mostly from Thracian, but that didn’t prevent the Greeks from developing a trade center on those lands. According to some historicists Anhielo in Greek means place near salty lake, others are saying that the meaning is place near water, near sea. Thereupon the second translation at 1934, Pomorie was chosen for the new name of the town.


The optimum location of the town near important roads pretty much guaranties its success while the salt lake located near by, determines the development the population’s means of livelihood- the salt extraction. Along with that also the fishing is developing because of the sea exposure, while the followers of Bakhus practiced the vine-growing, although it is not clear whether they were Thracian or Greek. Interesting fact in the history of the city is that Anhialo was in long constant hostility with other Greek colony – Messambria (Nessebar). The reason for this is that Anhielo is established by colonists from Apollonia (Sozopol), which was also in hostility with Messambria because of the homelands of the colonists. During the ages the town forms itself as one of the main towns on the Black sea coast, which on the other hand makes it attractive for the fighting during the Middle Ages Byzantium and Bulgarian empires. In the years of hostility between the two empires, Anhialo had entered the borders of both several times. Later during the Ottoman rule the town kept its importance as a trade and culture center and along with its wine and salt, the town also became famous with its thermal springs.

 

After the liberation of Bulgaria in 1878, Anhialo started to fall behind the quickly developing Bourgas and because of that it started to renew its means of livelihood as business activities, creating its new appearance as prospering trade and tourist’s center. Survivor after 25 centuries of multiple battles from antiquity till the middle ages, Anhielo starts its medical tourism development and its memories of the Romans, Byzantines, crusades and Ottomans raids are shown through archeological collection of museum exhibits. Its new name, Pomorie receives in 1934, when also its popularization as a tourist destination approximately started. The unique historical and culture monuments nowadays are Thracian dome tomb, museum of “Old Anhial’s salt-works, the churches “Hristos” (Christ) and “Sv. Bogorodica” (St. Mary mother of Jesus), the monastery “Sv Georgi” (St. George) and the architecture reserve “Old Pomorian houses”.

 

Despite the rich history of the town, the main attraction for the tourists is the mud healing baths. Nowadays Pomorie is one of the main Balneotherapic centers in Bulgaria as well as a splendid destination for summer holiday. The frontage of the town is covered with fine black sand, rich on iron. The composition of landmarks is filled by the protected areas of Byaloto Konche, Koriyata as well as the Pomorian Lake, from which the salt is extracted. The one of a kind “Salt Museum” has become like a symbol of the town and the Municipality’s Archeological Museum is like a diary of the 2500 years of history of Pomorie.


The neat houses, hiding between them charming cobblestone pavement streets and all that surrounded by romantic sea coastal boulevards, combined with wide frontage and modern balneotherapic procedures. That might be the picture which it prints in the mind of the town’s visitors. Pomorie can provide its guests with sterling terms for rest, sports activities and entertainment and rich culture calendar, whose main events are included in “National week of the sea”, they are: the festival “Sea of wine”, and the traditional “Yavorov days”, held more than 50 years.
